what at situations do u re-arm and when do u not? Seems like i am not getting a good return for re-arming ie preventing someone from Steamrolling me. (I'm TH 8 about 25% thru to max)

Partial rearm the springs. These are good to bounce off giants as TH8.
Leave the expensive giant bombs unarmed.

I always rearm all of them. At TH8 it really isn't that expensive, and if your traps are placed well they could stop a barch army before they get all that's built up in collectors.

I'm not too sure why anyone would not rearm them either way.. I personally have all of my traps inside walls, therefore if they are set off clearly they are doing their job no point in not rearming them. But maybe that's just me.

I get the point about tiny cost. However it's still a cost of around 50-60k and growing with each upgrade. Yes my traps are inside walls too. But, when I do get attacked, it's by someone going for the core, and more often than not it's usually someone with a superior army, and the traps barely slow them down. So, even though the traps do their job and eliminate some of the army, they are still getting to the core and thus I am losing an extra 50-60k for each re-arm. So I was curious how many people re arm vs not re arm and why.
Good topic... I personally only re-arm the spring traps. they're the cheapest and most useful to repel Giants. The Giant bombs and air traps I don't bother with. I hardly get attacked by air at TH9. My re-arm cost is about 150k so no point doing that every time. what a waste of gold! Spring traps only my friendEnjoy

I always rearm all. Even if they don't always help and are way too expensive for what you get. Just for the looks of it, I hate it when they're disarmed..
Only rearm spring traps. The cost vs benifit is absurd.
Its cheaper for me to lose the extra loot that the traps MIGHT help protect.
The only time I would rearm traps would be if I was doing some hard core trophy pushing... but even then its hard to see the value of them because I can quickly make up for any small trophy loss.

I always rearm all of my traps. would you not re-arm your wizard towers or mortars if you had to? Will you not re-load your xbows and infernos when you have them? They are a part of your defense and help protect loot. Any trap that has been triggered did its job and will only do so again if you rearm it.
I love running into bases with non re-armed traps. Its a walk in the park with no surprises.
