Game keeps crashing after latest update

I had the same issue after i tried to purchase gems...the game crashed on my ipod 4g,BUT heres the funny thing...I backe restored my ipod to factory settings,Downloaded clash of clans again and it works fine...but I CANT RELOAD MY VILLAGE NOW BECAUSE MY DEVICE ISNT ios7...I have a 2nd ipod 4g and my account on it is working great. This whole situation is crazy,I restroed my apps and settings from itunes so i dont have to reload my village,But the loading bar gets halfway sometimes and continues to crash over and over again. I can go get a newer device,But i really dont have the cash for this...Supercell said they are trying to fix this issue with an update,I hope its soon my elixir was maxed and i had 40 waalls left before going to TH9.

Im very curios as to why this account has crashed and my other account on another device with the same specs is running fine,Hope i find out soon.

This is a known fact that when you factory reset you need iOS 7+ which defeats the purpose. :\

The reason why your clash isn't working on one device but is on the other, is because the glitch only triggers when you purchase gems by mistake, exit the gem page, and then the purchase confirmation never shows up. If you don't do this on your other device, that one should be fine.

Curse miss clicks... Haha... Also, the poll goes to September 7th... Im hoping the SC staf didnt set that to just see i they actually have to do something or not.. Or maybe they're like waiting to fix it or something idk.

I don't think SC actually added that poll, and I have 2 reason why.

1. It doesn't look like it was done professionally. This doesn't make me 100% sure, but added with my next point it will make more sense

Same thing happened to me this morning at 10 am. Was working before that. I attacked someone, I remember at some point accidentally going to by gems and canceling out of that. But not sure if it crashed after my attack or at the buy gems screen. Now when I try to load it, it doesn't load passed the Supercell logo.

You have an iPhone 5? Can't that update to iOS 7+? If it can, you can fix your game by factory resetting and backing up your game by Game Center.

Yeah I have an iPhone 5 and I can update it too 8.4 or whatever the new one is. Can I just sync my phone to my computers iTunes account, back it up, and update to 8.4?
