No no no no no!!

Don't factory reset your iPod if it's iOS 6.?.? or below!! Your game will work but it will say you need iOS 7 to get your village to load. Sadly, this will also happen to all who deleted the app trying to fix it... ;-;

It shouldn't be a big deal to either say "get new hardware" or "we are on it" and will fix it with the new update in x-days,weeks, month...

I don't really get that kind of "support".

I agree 100%..... it is lazy to say absolutely nothing addressing this issue. SC needs to get on the ball and start addressing the issue.

I did the factory rested and then restored and it did nothing. Didn't show the iOS 7 sign and it didn't stop crashing....

I too am experiencing the same issue. Every time I try to open Clash of Clans on my 1st Gen iPad it just crashes at the title screen.

It's just a big tease. ;-;

It sometimes(rarely only happened once) loaded all the way and crashes. But it's all a tease. Who knows why? I hate being a part of this club.

Please help , after the update I accidently tapped the buy gem in shop and then it kept crashing after that.
I am playing the game in Ios 6.1.6
Now it wont start it crashes in the loading menu.

My clash was working fine, until I updated it then I was playing and my Game crashed. Now I can't get back on. It just shows the supercell logo, and then crashes. I've tried everything. Restarted my iPod, reinstalled the app, re-logged into Game Center ect. It only started happening after the update today. I have an iPod touch 4th Generation.
Any ideas on how to fix this??

P.S. The game crashed after I accidentally clicked purchase gems and exited the Gem page before the purchase confirmation came up.

I am having the problem of starting the game , while loading the game crashes . It wont even complete the load.

we have over 10,000 Players with ios 6.1.6 software we did the update two days ago play the game got off the game than bam crash we deleted the game logout of game center didn't all the dumb stuff you wrote you know what you never had this problem so how can you write down some step if you never did the steps your self first of all its your app that crash second Us gamer's pay good money on gems on this game now we havin played in 3 dam days this is uncalled for now i have to wait till oct 15 update just to play the game or are ya'll at supercell gonna do a update so us ios 6.1.6 users can play again come on Guys its been 72 hours already ya'll keep posting on twitter page saying its fix i call ♥♥ i'm so mad i got a level 114 account i spent a whole year working on it now i can't play the clash of clan game i downloaded to enjoy on my time off now im on this web site wring when i should be donating troops and wrecking bases
