How would you react if villagers were removed from the game?

Villagers, as you may not have realized, contribute nothing to the game. So, would you miss them if they were gone?

Who hasn't bleary eyed watched those villagers roam around at 2 am thinking: "She was just at the mushroom and now is clapping at that tree? ♥♥♥ is she up to anyway?" while waiting for something critical to finish before logging off for the night?

Those things keep peeing and pooping in my bushes and gem boxes. Plus, I see em stop by the builder huts and jibber their hands around....uh huh....not in my town!!!
