The amount available to obtain in an attack. How is it calculated?
You get a percentage of what is in each storage (20% I believe), and a percentage of what is in each collector (50% I believe) and for the most part there is always 1000 in the TownHall (I've noticed this is not always the case). I hope that is the answer you were looking for.

Loot on Storage: 2 000 000
Loot available: 2 000 000 x 14% = 280 000TH level: 9
Loot on storage: 4 000 000
Loot available: 350 000 (loot cap)
Loot from Collectors:
50% from gold mine/elixir collector and 75% from dark elixir drill. Gets added on top of loot from storages.
Loot from Clan Castle:
1 - 5 6 7 8 9 10 10% 9% 8% 7% 6% 5%
Gets added on top of loot from storages and from collectors.
Loot from TH:
Usually just 1000 gold and 1000 elixir. Also gets added on top of all of the above.

Also need to figure in the loot penalty for attacking lower town halls than your own.
