Feedback re troop dropping bug?

Guys, it appears the long running troop bug thread has been closed with rather scary haste given many of us haven't even installed the bug 'fix' yet. It must have been a tough itch to scratch having it pop up every day but I do feel the instant shut down is a bit premature?
Has anybody tried a full on war raid since the update yet or a mixed raid with varies spells that could feedback the result? Is it time for an applause emoji for Supercell or the angry face?
Please tell me it's an applause!

I couldn't see it but lets face it that's the graveyard of active threads hence I dropped this here. If you want feedback this is where most people live...

As has been mentioned, the actual discussion thread is in Bugs and Problems.
I closed the one in general because we don't need more than one thread for a bug that's been fixed.
The only reason it was open in general is because we were seeing knew threads about it daily, so allowed for somewhere for them to go.
