Yep no doubt.

I still feel like I am in a burnout stage at the moment.

I achieved my longtime goal of maxing heroes, then went on a trophy push to beat my previous best by some margin. Did that too by over 300 trophies.

But the trophy push grind became real, I ended up dropping all the way back to silver and only do 1-2 raids outside of a shield and log off again.

Thankfully wars are keeping me interested, if it wasn't for them I may well have quit the game to be honest.

But today I love war more than I ever have before. Which I know will seem crazy how anti war I was 6 or so months ago while I was power grinding my heroes.

Oh, a mini me keeps me interested too. I must have some strange fixation for farming heroes. My mini has 11/10 heroes at the moment.

Yep its a big dip in motvation after the heroes maxed for shizzle....and now u have joined us, war is a lot more fun that im not the only one with max heroes! But for me its being so close to fully max the game - zap walls....im a completist, 100% get all the special weapons and do the side quests, get all the trophies in games guy...so thats my motivation now....but if we didnt have Clan wars or it just sucked it would be really tough to grind out these zaps....only 200 to go!

It is happening to me too, mainly because I'm just rh9 and a need to farm lots of loot but I can't find much loot and just get wrecked by th10s with maxed troops

I've been playing for about a year and have rarely had a builder idle.

Right now I'm a mid level TH9 and have 5 builders sitting on butt. I do a lego or two a day but I don't farm like i once did. Queen to 16 soon but farming the dark is getting tedious.

I think burn out is common. I have had several occasions where I felt like I was losing interest in the game all together but then after not playing it for a day I find myself right back in. I just started the long road to lava walls so check with me after that haha.

I have found that relaxing in a War Farming clan for a time can be very, very relaxing .. you can still farm, still get a nice chunk of loot from casual wars (war farming clans deliberately lose in exchange for loot) ..

I can keep pushing my farming army to collect the daily quota of DE, without the stress of a war clan.

I have done long streaks of loot raiding for almost all of my defensive towers, and I've always taken a break after achieving the upgrade cost. Seeing all the gold go into a greedy builder pocket just gets to me somehow..

CoC already took fun out of the game. Im playing for past 18 months but feeling kinda bored recently.
Reduced the time spend on the game and started to involve on real life activities: )

My heroes are both on their way to level 35 right now, and both have been upgrading almost non-stop since level 20. I've been nearly burnt out for a long time, but I'm determined to get them done and get back into warring again.

I go through periods where all I do is collect loot and re-arm traps. Then I'll be excited and do lots of raiding and try new things. Allclash wrote an article on this, and gave tips to stay motivated.
