Why is there such a disproportionate amount of th8s crying about this?
Everyone of these threads is always started by a th8. You never see a th 6 crying about defending against a th7 and it's extra 50 troops and bk. Never see a th9 crying about how th10s come in with maxed heroes and maxed troops and level them.
Everyday there's a th8 on here crying about how it's not fair that a th9 can level my base
This is the reason the game is so successful. It makes you want to upgrade and advance so badly, because you don't want to get beat up anymore. It's what makes you grind those walls and stay up late to upgrade your defenses. There has to be a reason to work so hard at upgrading your base.
Once you hit TH9 you will be much safer. But....As a TH10, I feast on TH9s, but they aren't as easy to demolish as a TH8 was for a TH9. TH8 has to be the worst level for defending your resources. TH9s power just jumps sky high offensively with the AQ etc..
It is most likely because once you hit TH8 your upgrades are 3 million and above. While trying to save up to 3 million, once you start hitting 1 million or 2 million in savings you become a "Juicy target" like what was stated earlier in this post. Then TH9s come along and take 200k+ because it is easy for them to get 60 to 90 percent on your town and rob all those juicy resources. Once a TH8 loses 200K or more it makes expensive upgrade very hard. sure they get a shield but just long enough to earn back that 200K and then the shield drops and they loose another 200K or if during the shield they recoup more than they lost, that just means once the shield drops the TH8 is a juicier target to a TH9 where they can get even more.Originally Posted by Monkeyhole
I could spend those resources on smaller stuff that cost less than 3 mil and make my town less desirable to attack but then I will never be able to upgrade my archer tower, cannon, wizard towers or what ever, so that would be kind of pointless and not helpful in the long run.
so saving to 3 mil makes TH8s easy and desirable targets.
TH9s have a huge advantage over TH8s compared to other levels. The troop upgrades are great, and the addition of 4 spells is even better. TH9s can wreck TH8s easily, but then again, I guess any higher TH can wreck a lower one.
It's just TH8's have all that juicy elixir that they can't spend on walls
I understand CoC driving us to want to upgrade. I think if a person is playing into TH8 they are looking to keep upgrading. I am just saying if my town is going to get demolished, it should be a little more even. AQ herself tears up TH8. I am just looking for a even match and having TH8s attack me.
This also is not one sided. Yes I have been complaining about getting attacked but I also don't like the fact I can attack a TH7. Of course i do it because like what was said in a different post "it is the game". Right I am playing it but want more even fights both ways.

I understand that and I am dealing with it. I am still playing and trying my best to do what I can. I put up with TH9 beating on me and also beat on TH7. Like you said that is the game.
Just because that is part of the game does not mean it is right and I am trying to take the correct way to suggest a solution. I am just not complaining but also offering a solution (learned that early in my working career. it is okay to complain but also come with a solution or at least a suggestion). My simple suggestion is make it so I can only attack and get attacked by the same TH.
Mid/High Level TH10s' please stop crushing my base.

TH8 is rough, I wish I didn't stay as long as i did. At least you can still destroy TH7 and even juicy TH6s but you should prob consider either going to Gold 1/Crystal 3 and leave your TH out or go TH9 and spend your Elixir.
That's be totally awful imagine all TH7s/TH8s going up to Titan because TH9s/10s can't wreck them and farm their whole village based off league bonus
Seriously man, previously there used to be people crying about zapping all the time. After SC fixed it, now its a new topic.
So you always think about yourself, I do get it. Now imagine this, you max out TH8 completely (even though I think its completely pointless but still lets roll with it). One fine day you hit TH9. You are all pumped up & such & you prepare a nice army to raid. You start searching BUT WAIT OMG you only come across TH9s with lego & lava walls. You fully unleash your army but after a min or so you are horrorstruck to see that you didn't even get to the 2nd layer let alone get all the loot. You again start crying, come back to the forums & complain.
So there we go back to square one.
Always remember every Th9 was once a Th8 & had to face this kind of treatment from TH9s, so when they tell you its part of the game & good for the economy, most of them are right.
