My suggestion for u birdfloyd is to drop to around 1400 trophies. They still get u there but less frequently and usually theyre not as good with their troops at the lower trophy counts. Not much of solution i know but it'll help u save up for those last few expensive upgrades. Good luck

When a person goes to war is broke! I am a TH8 and about 90% done upgrading everything. I can not see finishing upgrading because every time my shield drops a TH9 person attacks me and wipes me out. I cant defend lvl 6 giants with level 10 BK and AQ. Th8 is just not meant to defend that. Is is discouraging.

Even when i attack i get TH7, and of course i demolish them. I feel bad for doing it but that is the broken part of this game. I know if i dont then some TH9 will do it to me. Also it is the rules of the game.... so i do it. This all should stop.

It would be so wonderful and make playing so much better and easy if when you attack it only pulled same TH level.

The player hurt most by the poison spell is the TH8 IMO. I'm TH9 now but when a TH8, the CC was my saving defense against raiding TH9s. Add that you can't upgrade walls with elixir, you are probably sitting on a ton of elixir making you a huge target. Your best off putting your TH outside the walls to ensure you are only attacked once, keeping your pumps and mines empty and upgrading to TH9 for the x-bows are first opportunity.

Public service announcement to any th8s getting rampaged by giants.....get a castle that is somewhat hard but not impossible to lure and get someone in your clan who has max valks....my favorite clan castle for 8 and 9 is a mixture of valks wiz and goblins, they work incredibly well against giant based attacks especialky with the decreased agro radius of their supporting wiz/archers these days.

.. and spend all your resources on the most expensive thing you can afford, before you go offline .. make walls if nothing else..

Use excess elixir for expensive troops for clan mates .. build up that goodwill for WHEN you need troops for serious farming at th9..

In short .. do not think about trophies.. they are worthless and they ultimately cost you resources to maintain.

I feel you bro, I Just always change my base if I got beaten. and I push my trophy, because
gold 3 below, there are many raiders there. Go to gold 2 up, just put your th outside,
many raiders only want Trophies in that league.

I just try to bash anything I can, whenever I can. Don't care if it's war or not. Never roll with barch only, because I get a very high level of satisfaction from destroying peoples bases.

That's how the game works. I mist admit though... I my self, rushed a bit to th9, might have made things a tiny bit easier for me.

I'm a TH8 and I dropped from 1200ish cups (where usually TH9s would come after me if I had especially lot of DE)
to 1000ish cups

I have like had 30+k DE all the time so offering 2000ish and it's been days and no TH9 has attacked me

My last defences are against: TH8 (TH7 level troops) - TH8 - TH8 - [TH9 trophy dropper] - TH7 - TH8 - TH8 - TH8 - TH10 (♥♥♥) - TH8 - TH8 ..........

The only who got to my DE are a TH8 that mass drag'd me and the TH10 (thx loot penalty)


Maybe I'm just lucky, maybe much less TH9s in this range
