    For th 8-10 they are pointless

    I would like to see a buff that lightning spells take out defences perhaps keep damage constant but add a "favorite target" like hogs.

    1 per morter/WT/AT/Cannon
    2 per ad
    3 per x bow
    4 per inferno
    zaps are not pointless for th8. constantly see them used to 3 star other th8's with drags and loons

    a few defensive wins doesn't prove they are worthless. maybe just the few you've seen use them have not known how. Like I said, my clan is scoring more 3 star war attacks than ever using quake.

    lol so you cry because you dont know how to farm DE . your tears are so delicious . 2 lightnings can take out a Mortar or a Wizz tower -very usefull for high lvl Barch or for air attacks to take out Air defenses . The day when zapping DE was disabled was the happiest day of my COC-Life it will never come back learn to deal with it and try GiBARCH to get DE .

    Past mid TH8, Lightnings are only useful in very rare circumstances: high-end barch and high-end dragon combos. Few people use these strategies.

    I haven't brewed one since I got my DSF upgraded to level 3.

    It would be good if either the damage was increased, or they were made to take one spell slot. Otherwise, it's now the most pointless thing to use/upgrade in the game in my opinion. Even my Goblins will get upgraded before Lightning.

    Like everything in the game Lighting Spells have their uses. They can be used for example to take out a mortar for BArch specialists. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwBrC2c6vyE

    I hope this helps you understand where the Lightning spell can fit in the game. Also please keep in mind that it is the first spell you unlock and thus it is a little unfair to say it is useless now as it may still be very useful to lower level players.

    Zap ADs for Giant-Healer and mass drags, zap mortars for Barch, zap collectors, and zapping gemboxes.

    Must be fresh 8's. Because against decent 8's you will never 3 star using lightnings.

    Fresh th8s & th7s need spells to, the entire game isn't made so everything will be perfect for exactly where you are right at this moment
