Jump spell vs Earthquake. Come weigh in!

So next up I'm maxing my spells. I use my jump in war. 2 to be exact but it's still level 1. So is my earthquake. Am I better bringing 4 earthquake and max them or maxing my jump. I'll get to both eventually but which one first?

if it helps I'm a th10 l 123. And generally use max gowiwi or a combo of gowipe/gowiwi. Thanks.

Definitely max your jump spell first.
    .
Till the moment, I don't see a point in upgrading the earthquake spell if you are using them as a jump spell.
Maybe some tweaks and changes will happen to it later. But, till then, I will not upgrade it.
    .
NOTE(reminder): 4 quakes from any lvl, destroy walls from any lvl.

I'd actually recommend keeping your earthquake spells at level 1 as 4 level 1s can take out zap walls so it just makes things cheaper
    L11 walls: 141
    GG: 1.6 Billion | EE: 1.4 Billion | HH: 5.5 Million

I think it depends on the base, when deciding between earthquake and jump.. one of the TH10s in my clan uses earthquake spell a lot, and it works great in war.

I find L2 jump works just fine most of the time, far superior to L1. I haven't found a need to upgrade eq yet. 4 L1 eq destroys any level wall, 4 max eq also destroys any level wall. Unless you are using them to take down buildings near death, no real benefit to upgrading eq yet.

Jump. EQ 1 v EQ 4 is basically an equal match, having an extra 20 seconds on your jump though is pretty important.

Most of the time I see somebody use four EQ spells it is a waste.

Some people like to use it for the same reason other people think it's too powerful...it just looks and seems cool, forget about the fact that you can cover more walls with two jumps, or that people actually use 4EQ in a spot where one jump could cover the same walls.

Yea the main purpose for earthquakes has been breaking walls, not weakening buildings. And earthquakes take 4 at any level to break walls.

So I'd recommend leaving earthquakes at level 1.

Jump spell doesn't do such a nice job and wears out, but it's half the cost of the earthquake method.

If you have 2 3x3 buildings beside eachother (so 6 tiles) and drop an earthquake in between them, then you get both wall sections and weaken buildings. I mix it up, but if there's quite a few spaced out walls, then the EQ always will do better.
