I'm a near maxed Th9 (been th9 since the turn of the year) and all I can say is enjoy it! It is by FAR the best of the Town hall levels thus far.

I would get lab, spell factory and army camps upgraded as soon as you can. Once the lab is done I would concentrate on upgrading you farming troops as top priority (I think I did Barbs, archers and Giants in that order). For war I would do golem and witches first, but this does depend on your war attack preferences. LavalLoon is a difficult strat to get right, id do Hounds after your more important upgrades are out of the way. You also have a lot of walls to do so dump any excess resources into walls. If you are very active you can keep a builder open for walls as well. Walls will come along nicely as long as you are an active farmer.

Once thing I would do differently if I had to do TH9 all over again is I would concentrate on Heroes early on, especially that Queen. She makes all the difference in the world in farming and in War. Id say that once you are strong enough to get the DE coming in at a steady pace get the Queen to 15 ASAP and then some more. I left it till relatively late to focus on them (they are currently 17/25), and this is once regret. Try to upgrade her as often as possible, even if that means skipping a few wars. Get those Heroes up, it WILL become tedious and often soul-draining at times to farm Heroes but worth it the long run.

Xbows I got within the first month, its not a bad move but if you war a lot id leave them at Level 1 for a bit until your troops and other defences are a bit stronger so as not to draw stronger opponents in war.

Yes indeed, my friends have more fun wars (they can switch it up to lavaloonion or hogs or gohogs or gowipe etc) Im just stuck their watching them have fun. I'll be in war, but I'll just loot (most of the time unless the war is in a bad moment and I must use my attacks) should I get xbow to lvl3 as fast as I can or wait on it? What lvl is good for AQ (for a early th9 im targeting 20-15, than try getting 25 at mid and 30 at max)
Should I just ipgrade de collector, cc, troops, spell factorie(s) and 2 builder on the new defences. And grind my walls and queen or is their a better way?

Im a new TH9 i got 1 day to finish lab.
im gonna upgrade first, Giant then archer and then barbs.
then i go for the baloon's and some hogs and troops that i need for war's.

Are your walls max?

Who knows, I've seen many people on global, and all my friends (old clans and current ) have the white flag up and are in Crystal many Crystal leaguers have their flags up, only thing I'm worryin about is people no breaking their Sheilds

I would not upgrade your X-bows until you have a stronger base both defense-wise and war troop-wise (especially war troop. It will push you farther up the war map where you may not be able to handle equal oppponents, while they demolish you in return. There is not much rush in upgrading the Xbow (Its a good defence but not too far off to say that it is on par with a glorified Archer Tower in effectiveness). Your defensive building focus imho should be on Air Defense, Wizard Tower and Mortar.

Queen at level 15 is decent imo, at 20 even better and I'm quite happy with her at 25, but make no mistake it takes hard work (yes, hard work) as well as patience to get her to 20+. Id aim for 15 for now and see how you can cope with the DE and time requirements after that. She is the best and most important unit in the game in my honest opinion. It all depends how much time you are willing to spend getting her "big". Remember as well that after level 14, her upgrade time is 7 days/level and you will feel her absene. All in all, see how it goes, maybe make that level 30 a long term goal? DE requirements after 20 become steep.

Get the Drills to level 6 ASAP. (see the pattern here? - all the Elixir based upgrades are so much better than gold early on)Clan castle should be on the top priority list as well, it is the best offensive and defensive building in the game imo.

I'm a few weeks into TH9 and I upgraded my lab, spell factory, army camps, and obviously all of the new building first. Still have lvl 1 xbows and probably gonna keep it that way for a few weeks. This seemed to work well for me, good luck at TH9 and have fun!
