My standard attack army for DE is:
- 8 lvl6 giants
- 68 lvl5 barbarians
- 68 lvl6 archers
- 28 lvl5 goblins
- 8 wbs
- lvl13 AQ
- lvl12 BK
Yesterday I made 21K DE in ten loot raids hitting TH8/9/10. It depends on how you attack.
TH9: GG - 778M / EE - 828M / HH - 3.63M / FiN 195k
Lvl20 BK and Lvl 25 AQ / 12 Legos, 138 Lavas, 100 Skulls / Level 138 / 573 War Stars

You can thank the loot penalty for not having town hall 10s bully you. As a new town hall 10, when I come across a town hall 8 and see the full elixir storages, I remember how I'd smash that as a town hall 9 for 300k but unfortunately, th10s can only get around 160k out of that

The only thing I hated most was a TH10 attacking me when I was a TH8. How can you revenge a TH10 being a TH8? Took almost a year before SC fixed it but a little too late as I moved on to TH9.
You aren't very smart if you hated somebody hitting you when they had a 50% loot penalty
Being a TH8, I've learned that no matter what Townhall someone is, if they're worth a lot of loot and you can get it, you'll attack. That's the main basis of the game in my opinion. Understanding that, I will still always have a little hate for TH9's who go all out on TH8's .
When I say all out I mean it
When a TH9 barches me I can handle it, but when a TH9 either gowipes me or goes full out level 6 Giants and Wiz as well as their lvl 10 heroes. Now, you may argue that Townhall 8's do the same to Townhall 7's as well as 7's to 6's, but TH9 gets a little extra from it.
Townhall 9's get decent dark elixir
When a Townhall 8 attcks a townhall 7 for dark elixir, he might get 1k max. When a townhall 9 attacks a townhall 8, he's averaging around 2,000. A townhall 9 gets easy access to loot while townhall 8's are stuck attacking each other for dark elixir, which reuires a little bit extra effort than a townhall 9. While I'm saying this, I'm trying my best not to be a hypocrite when aI become a townhall 9. Chances are, I will, but at the same time I feel I might spare some people(unless they're worth 3k somehow).
Does this happen to TH9's getting attacked by TH10's?
Seriously I have no idea, but I can only assume it does, at least townhall 9's have some xbows for defense. All in all though, I will always enjoy this game that's for sure, even when I'm so bored that I go on about why I can't stand th9's. Hope you all like my little thread
Completley understand where your coming from, however no point in complaining or bottling up hatred, just raid it back and upgrade quickly before TH9s attack you again..

I can relate, I'm on my last DE upgrade of TH8 (Valks) which is only 50k, but I find that every time I get near my upgrade, TH9's come out of the woodwork and utterly destroy my base. I get raided about 2k on average when a TH9 raids me. But at least we don't have to worry about those damn TH7's zapping our storage's anymore

I find it funny everytime someone posts a thread how its so unfair a higher TH has the advantage and can smash them.
The answer is simple, move up to that TH if you really think its tilted in their favour so much ....
What? You mean you still want the advantages of your lower TH as well as the advantages of the higher TH?
