Instead of Supercell "fixing" something that isn't a problem, you need to get more strategic with your upgrades and base layout. All the people that are TH9's were once TH8's that got steamrolled.

It works as most people would hope and expect it to work.

Yes, it can be irritating when a stronger player smashes your base for lots of loot. But any decent long term game will have stronger and weaker players at any time, and the stronger players can easily beat the weaker ones.

Yep, you are right.

But there is no other way as people would leave if the game was actually hard. The way it is now is
that you don't have to be smart, understand strategy or anything of the sort, just spend more time on
the game upgrading your stuff and you are automatically better than everyone under you.

Lots of multiplayer games have similar game mechanics in place to keep the masses appeased and happy with
their false sense of achievement.
