Since we have seasons, how about we celbrate the end of each season with an optional Intra-clan challenge. Here is how it would go down. Any time during the last 72 hours of a season the war search button would be joined by an Intra-Clan Challenge button. A leader or co-leader who chooses this option would start an Intra Clan war by selecting any number of participants so long as it is an even number. The game itself would divide the players into two groups as evenly matched as possible. All normal war options would apply. Results of the challenge would not count toward achievements or other player stats, however loot would be earned as in a normal war. A team could not choose this option twice during the 72 hour window however. This window simply exists to allow for wars in progress to conclude and still have time available to start the challenge.
Since this would only be available once per month it would be only marginally useful as an exploit. My belief is that most people who choose this option would enjoy a rivalry within the clan for bragging rights. A clan participating in this challenge would not be eligible for war during the 48 hours of the challenge. For all intents and purposes this would be a real war minus achievement and clan XP. Like a normal war, you can only see the traps and other hidden features for bases op from your own team.
I normally oppose anything that resembles practice, and have objected to previous similar ideas. I believe this idea is unique, narrow, and specific enough to be addressed standalone without regard to more broadly defined ideas that are similar but more easily exploited.
