Just want to play at the highest level!

Can't talk for everyone but since I started playing multiplayer games Iv allways tryed my hardest to play at the top level.
Then I downloaded clash. Never played a game where you have to farm for 2 years to level up or spend £1500??!!! Joke.
I'm over a year in th 9 heros 22, near maxed troops and defences and 20 odd level 10 walls. My goal is for maxed th 10 with maxed heroes and level 10 walls then I can finally play at the level im use to playing in multiplayer games.
This makes clash of clans a game in its own league.
What do you guys think about the whole banging your head against the supercell wall?

it's all about the monetary system they use to make their money off the game, micro transactions. the highest levels of play are locked behind time sinks to get you to pay for things here and there if you want to get there faster. It's just the nature of the beast. I still feel the real magic of CoC and why it is so popular and lasted so long is the fact that every single bit of content is free to play if you invest enough time. likewise every single bit of content can also be accessed by paying for it. many games cannot straddle that line so well.

If you really enjoy mindless grinding, then go ahead. But if you don't then why bother? Why not be happy with whatever TH, troops, base you have now? The game is quite enjoyable at all levels, why not just sit back and enjoy?

IMO, if you really like "playing at the highest level" then you could just look for another multiplayer game where the "highest level" doesn't require as much time/effort as Clash. If the bar is set to high... look for a lower bar.

If you guys think that CoC is bad with grinding to play at the top level, you obviously haven't played many MMORPGs. I'm fine with how clash works as it is.

It's choice if you want to spend your own time or money. I can easily raid anywhere from 1 to 2 million of each per hour depending on how loo t is with just BAM and hopping on only when my army is cooked.

Exactly.... I think the fun IS building up at whatever pace you choose. There were points in playing clash where I thought I'd never be able to three star an equal base to mine. There is satisfaction in over coming those obstacles, there is satisfaction in growing and developing better defenses and better attack strategies. I know no clasher who at one point or time did not have to struggle, and the system in place with being able to get help and advice from clan mates at a higher level is just great.

good comments. Nice one. I enjoy farming, otherwise u wouldn't do it, I think u learn a lot by doing it, fine tuning and understanding defences. Just would be nice if it was a year to get there not 2 years.lol

i like how clash is. u either grind the year plus to max, or spends thousands of dollars. If that wasnt the case, clash would surely be dead by now...

Lol, would it bother you if you couldn't play at the highest level in Clash? COC ruins everything!
