Guess it would depend on where at th9 you are but I'm fully maxed minus my dark spells and I've been here since April.

For sure, yes. Hero and troop levels help. Loonion and laloonion are strong enough, and ok for lower heroes. Even gibarchard can work. Expect to use full armies and spells on mid level th10s to max th9s and you are good.

im doing it right now. if youre willing to put about 4 hours a day in its relativly easy to maintain. You might run out of elixir though. gowipe is expensive. its great for farming gold however

Yes, resource management can become key. Armies of different costs and frequency. 2 hound laloonion is cheaper on de than gowipe, a little lix heavy. Gibarch, maybe with a few wizzie, might be a little cheaper and is no de.
A simple but crucial trick is to look at the offers and only accept those of a certain level. If you need lix, only go on 200-300k lix offers. Searches might get longer, but you will get what you need if you keep an eye on army cost vs raid gain.

Yup it is. I was at 31xx cups in the last week, i was playing at 31xx spot for about 2 months ago now i'm pushing to Titan as TH9 . 31XX is safe range just put your TH outside without traps & loot will be safe. Currently I'm at 3692, pushing to titan but now Its hard to maintain here. 2*d about in 90% attacks. So move on buddy to 31XX. Good luck

I'm a townhall eight in champs three right now. I'm maxed and maintaining right now so I can be well assured that a decent townhall nine or townhall nine for that matter should fare much better than me especially since you have more troops spells, and can hit bases that I cannot..

M3 is totally awesome for farming de im a th 9 with an 8.5 base and I maintained it easy

Until the last few days I was in M1 farming DE with giant/wiz (minimum gain per raid 3k including bonus).
I started at 3150 with the champ badge, but found that a little high with loot troops unless I deliberately wasted attacks gaining trophies (or attacked with heavy troops). If I just looted and ignored trophies I seemed to gravitate to about 3000-3050 naturally. So higher is certainly possible, but the champ bonus isn't so much larger, so I stuck in M1 for a few weeks.
lol of course it is 3200 is easy now you can just barch all day.
