Although I'm a th8, and don't try to complain to much, I have noticed the queen is acting like an idiot! A th9 in my clan recently attacked in war using an air attack, he intended to get at least 2 AD with his kill squad, but because the queen went to a stupid random place (down to some collectors) where she shouldn't have gone! It caused him to onlybget 1 star.
I liked the old one which banged on walls reason coz i would bring along 16wbs every raid to help she would go in destroy come out the other end. Now tho sometimes happens that the wbs open up 2 compartments for her barch busy clearing left and right she goes in destroys bldgs then come back out so much for funnelling lol.

I farmed my queen from level 30 to level 40 since June using AQ/Healer.
The recent update dropped right in the middle of that. It made my farming easier. The queen is pretty much perfect now. She goes where I want her to go and doesn't waste 45 seconds each battle pounding on a wall.

I now use my royals to go around the base destroying useless stuff while my lavaloons do a better job...
I think the new queen AI ist better at the end of the raid if your raid went wrong, all your backend loons and hogs are dead and you need the queen for cleanup.
In the beginning of the raid it can be a disadvantage if you dont funnel correctly and do not put a jump spell down. If the first wall is openend by wall breakers and the next walls are removed by earthquake or jump, she will no wander around more likely than before because there is no wall she has to avoid.
For farming attacks without jump she walks around sometimes but she has done the same before.
In my opinion if the queen walks around, your king, valks, pekkas and wizards will do the same and you will fail the raid anyway. Even with a max queen you cant get the th with her and some golems alone unless you do 7 golem attack.
i have a VERY hard time beleiving that lol. unless your leaving out some key elements of "youre" specific "queen/healer" strategy. She walks around the entire base with a load of healers following her is exactly what happens. How that became easier than her going inside pre-update is beyond me. even with quake and/or 35wbs she absolutely will not go inside to a plump de tank with queen healer.....cmon now you trollin me? hahahaOriginally Posted by xtalx
Queen lvl40 here. I had way more problems with queen before update than now. I lost/1 star many attacks because queen decided that she should not walk few steps forward. Now since update I never had problems with AI but the normal errors of miss clicking something or somewhere accidentally.
Not saying it is perfect but I adapted to changes and used them to my advantage. Very rarely queen ignores jump but always have lots of golems infront of her to make sure she won't be hit until later in attack
The secret to use it the right way is to adapt to the change

Too many times she has ignore storages on the inside and rushed out of the base to pick on some mines outside, which gets her injured too without the giants tanking.
Preupdate, if you got her in, the storages especially de(in my case) was sure to be taken.
Seeing there is a debate as to whether it is improved/made worse, maybe SC should give us an option to chose between the 2 AI's of the AQ, whatever we feel best. Like a switch AI button. I definitely would be using the preupdate AI then.

Guys, please list your queen lvl and townhall if you comment, as stated early in the thread, im not talking about a th8 or early 9 with low lvl queen. Th10s and more specifically max 10s hitting other Max 10s is mostly what im reffering to. i hardly see any little guys complain in my family of clans about her or seen anywhere near the issues the way us th10s have suffered.
As I said in my previous post, feel free to come and visit me in my clan.
