What's the point of upgrading to TH10?

What's funny is that I took a long-♥♥♥ break from CoC because I had more important things to do. At least I got a life, unlike someone who cares so much about a stranger's base and gaming-life LOLOLOL. Stay irate, kid.

Lets be for real.. You never take long breaks from "CoC". As uptight as you are I'm sure you probably get rammed at least twice a day ^_^ , probably by a nice big one too lol.

I'm a maxxed TH9 except for walls (25/250 Lavas) and heroes (16/16). I don't see the point of going to TH10 once I max out my heroes and walls. TH9 is the best place to be at for war. You can unlock all troops and spells (except freeze) at TH9, which gives various attack strategies to choose from. Once I get 30/30 heroes, I'll be 3-starring TH9 with relative ease. It's the funnest TH level to be at by far.

At this point, I don't see any motivation at all to upgrade to TH10 once I max out my heroes and walls. Plus, TH10 seems too stressful, which will take my enjoyment out of the game.

Looks like another mediocre player without skill bragging as TH9 which is so weak in front of th10.

You are still very far from maxing, as your heroes are barely over the half way level mark, not to mention the dark keeps bumping every level. I would defiantly recommend going 9.5 from what you are saying, I had 10 times more fun being a 9.5 than I ever did as a 9. You get to easily crush any 9 and also can get the easy 2 on lower 10s

After maxing Th9 completely (I am since now a maxed TH10) and spending various occasions in top leaderboard TH10 clans I can tell you by far that TH9 is the best TH in the game from a war perspective.

I loved war as a TH9. Perfecting 3 star comps, exploiting bases to perfection and taking on fully maxed TH9's as a 9 was beyond fun for me. I was a TH9 for well over a year maxing it and loved every minute of it.

Now that I'm a Th10 at end game, TH10 war is bland and stale. Pretty much 2 star pony wars and so many draws I can't even count. You simply cannot 3 a max defensive TH10 like you could any TH before it. Unless the base design is incredibly flawed or weak, it just doesn't happen very often.

This is also attributed to the defensive upgrades they've just tacked on to TH10 over the past two years. lvl 8 teslas, lvl 13 arch towers/cannons, 2 sweepers, etc..and what have we really gotten for offense to combat these new upgraded defenses? Lvl 7 Barch? Lvl 7 Giants? Useless besides farming Lol...and lvl 5 drags don't scale well at all to TH10 defenses even with this recent update.

Dark spells changed the game up a bit (some for the better, some for the worse). Bottom line offense hasn't quite scaled well enough over the past two years while defenses have skyrocketed for 10's....and unless you are IntheDark you aren't 3ing a max 10 often without either extreme luck, or the base is terribly designed. Be prepared for very boring TH10 wars on average.

Yeah TH9 is great! I will upgrade to TH10 when TH11 comes. In the mean time, I too, will continue upgrading royals and walls and enjoy wars without the need to be stressed out on infernos, not that I can't handle em, I've 2 starred TH10s with maxed infernos, it's just that everytime I see them, I always look for their placement and disregard everything else, and would probably still do even if I were a TH10, which suxs.

I'm not a big fan of war, so for me th 10 is fun just like th 9. I have more space for troops and my infernos send away those th 9 who tried to take my loot. Both of th 9 and th 10 are fun, just in a different way. But that's my 2 cents

TH9 is indeed the best TH level for them who are a warrior at heart. Will move on to TH10 once I get bored wrecking TH9 bases with my fully maxed TH9 in cw.
