Best places to farm DE for th9?

Barching in Gold should always be an option. I boost twice per day when DE farming and saved enough for the lvl 22 AQ in 2 days. You just have to be efficient and Barch due to the build speed. Get in, loot, get out... rinse, repeat. It builds up fast. Just pick bases where you only have to go through 1 or 2 wall layers to get the archers within reach of the DE. Dump the gold & elixir you get into walls if all other items are upgraded already.

Let me know if you have more specific questions. I only use Barch and my AQ for DE farming and typically stay in Gold II(ish).

I just farmed 100k DE in a week using GiBarch. I was sitting between 1750 - 2000 cups

Barched (lv7) over 300k DE in C1-M3 a week for both heroes upgrades in lvl 30s.
Don't know if it works with th9's barch but TH10 is sure good.

Queen+minions 2 hours session boosted barracks + mysterious army comp, 187k. If I could afford to gem the time of my queen she'd be L40 already.

This right here.....although since the update that brought Titans and legends, the picking is still pretty good up to almost 3400.....still tons of other 9s with a whole lot of dark. Just got done giwiping both of my heroes from level 25-30 in just under two months up there....so about 1.6 mil in about 7 weeks.
