Dark troops maxed, should I go to TH9

All elixir upgrades are maxed EXCEPT gold mines and lab, I still have lots of elixir lab left.
dark elixir troops are nearly maxed as well as king is at 10,
defense is not maxed. I have too much dark elixir though so I have to dump it on lab upgrades, I really honestly don't want to waste dark elixir while doing defense and stuff because you need so much of it at TH9, it it advisable to move up early if dark troops are maxed.

What does your lab look like? If you war; do you have your chosen war(and farming) troops for th9 at max th8 level? If you don't war; do you have your chosen farming troops maxed for th8? if the answers are yes and you're prepared for a smart rush then go for it, defenses don't matter all that much if you raid in sessions and dump loot so you're an unattractive target.

Rushing to th9 is not that bad. Just do it. Way too much obsession with maxing.

I know your active on the forums so I'm sure you will be fine. The dark elixir grind at th9 is endless

Ok thanks, I will wait about 2 more weeks until my dark troops are maxed which will give me time to max a bit more, then I'll move up.

I always say go to TH9 once you are comfortable three starring bases in war with something other than dragloon.
