OMG these crazed maxers never cease to make me laugh. You look quite ready for TH9. Upgrade now, and you will get a headstart on your AQ and all those shiny new L6 troops. GO ahead, you will be fine. Rushers like Morgauth or SinofDusk and nubcakeboxer have all proven that rushing is totally fine as long as your farming troops are max. Good luck!

Nooby and early, but with l3 drags ,l4 hogs, maxing wizz now, all maxed wizz towers and mortars, 2 lvl6 air def and 1 lvl 5air def, two teslas going to 4 and the new one to 2 etc

I would prioritize getting 100% of your DE upgrades possible done at TH8. That means everything in the lab and BK to 10. You have 50 levels of hero upgrades to do at TH9 and you really don't want to have any DE lab work left. You will also at the very minimum want to do 100% of your building upgrades (with the only possible exceptions being walls and collectors).

As for walls, here is the trouble. You have 1 billion resources worth of wall upgrades to do at TH9 (slightly more actually because 25 of the walls are completely new). As someone that just recently finished all those wall upgrades at TH9 I can tell you, you really don't want to have extra wall upgrades from previous town hall levels to work on as well. I know some people go to TH9 so they can spend elixir on walls sooner, and I understand and can forgive that frame of mind if that is the only thing you have to work on, but I definitely would not go to TH9 if you still have any other buildings to upgrade or DE lab work to do (and I would seriously consider staying longer to work on other lab work and just donate a lot of expensive troops to use some of the excess elixir). Rolling in elixir can actually be kind of nice. It is much better than the alternative you will later experience of always wanting for it. When you finish your walls though I would definitely not stay at TH8 just to finish lab work. You should have all your DE lab upgrades done by then so if you don't have all your regular elixir upgrades done feel free to move on anyway.

Collectors are the final issue. If you are an active player you really don't need fully upgrades collectors at TH8 (though you may want to upgrade your gold mines as soon as possible since it looks like you are not getting nearly enough gold to pay for the wall upgrades you need). However, as soon as you get to TH9 (and have the billion resources of walls to pay for) you will want your mines and collectors to be fully maxed as quickly as possible to help increase the resources you have to pay for those. If you are 100% done with all buildings and walls then I would not stay at TH8 just to finish mines and collectors. If you still have any buildings or walls to work on I would stay and fully upgrade all your mines and collectors (starting with mines to help pay for the walls). You will be very glad to already have them done when you get to TH9.

It is very hard to start a new town hall level upgrading resource collectors because there are usually much more exciting buildings to upgrade (xbows, CC, army camps, etc.). Having them fully upgrades at TH8 will save you that trouble without costing you the millions of resources I lost by waiting until well into TH9 to upgrade them (I finished my walls and everything else in TH8 before I had a chance to get around to the collectors even with 5 builders going so I didn't want to sit at TH8 with all 3 resources completely maxed with nothing but a few elixir upgrades in the lab to spend anything on just to get my collectors done). The result is it took months to finally get myself to upgrade my mines and collectors at TH9 and I lost millions in collector resources which kept me farming walls at TH9 for much longer than I should have needed to.

If you're playing alone, that might be true. If you're active in clan wars, maxing every TH is the difference between a win and a loss.

I regret not having my walls all done before going to TH9, teslas 6 are a big help! Definitely do all defenses before a TH upgrade, preferably all hero and do the units you use most.

I am fine with Golem lv1 as my Hogs lv5 get me 3 stars against most TH9.

As someone stated rushing can be effective, but mainly if you're extremely active.
And the person saying you will get a head start on your AQ, what's the point when your BK isn't even max for TH8 - you will still need to collect the DE for BK...if you can get that much DE using low troops when you're coming up against TH9s a lot more then well done!

You have to be extremely careful who you are giving advice to though. People that tell you to rush usually have a certain play style. They tend to play very long sessions for large amount of resources and are completely okay with getting 3-starred every time they log out. If the original poster is this type of player then sure, he can rush. However, that kind of player is both relatively rare and does not usually need to ask for advice on a forum (because they already have an extremely strong grasp of the game).

I used to play 6 hour sessions all the time (because I wanted to keep my resources safe and until I was a high TH9 I simply couldn't do so through base defenses) but I was definitely not okay being 3-starred whenever I logged out (though it did happen) so even I would not have been a candidate for rushing and I am much more active than most CoC players and would be able to endure the trials of a rushed base much better than average.

Not to mention that for many players rushing simply isn't fun. Being higher in town hall level sounds nice at first, but you quickly get bored with the new features of that town hall level and all that you have left is the much bigger grind of higher cost buildings and longer upgrade times. Couple that with stronger opponents attacking your base and the ability of those opponents to take even more resources at higher town hall levels (which is only compounded if you rushed and thus didn't finish the upgrades that would make your base better defended) and you find yourself playing a game that is far less fun than it was at the lower town hall levels.

On top of that, finding easy/fun bases to attack for good loot only gets harder the higher in town hall you get. I just finished fully maxing TH9 (including walls and heroes) a week ago (I've been TH10 for 4 days now) and I am already noticing how much less enjoyable farming is at TH10. I should be excited that I am a new town hall level with new toys to play with and new things to upgrade but I am actually extremely happy that I waited until I finished everything at town hall 9 because the game is simply less fun now than it was a week ago.

Rushing not only makes it harder to defend your resources, simply being higher in town hall level makes it harder to get resources and makes the game less fun and more tedious. Enjoy being in the lower town hall levels while you can. It only gets worse.

Rushing to/farming at th10 is NOT the same as th9. IF you are active and can raid in sessions (which just purely by virtue of you making a thread on the forums I assume you can) then you will be fine.

Th9 offers such a huge offensive buff and makes the game much more enjoyable.

Yes you will occasionally get wrecked on defense but so what. And for the record I live in masters and the majority of my defenses are snipes even when holding alot of resources at th8 defenses (except for 4th air defense and 2nd sweeper)

And you won't be doing your clan a disservice unless you immediately build all the new defenses.

i maxed my TH8 with everything besides a few black walls. i would recommend maxing everything using both elixir and gold along the way. i would have finished my walls before moving to TH9 but i had so much left over elixir that i had to move forward. You wont regret it, not to mention a max TH8 can be quite the advantage in clan wars.
