War stars question.

Hi guys, i have a question.
In the player profile we get the numer of war stars that we have.
My question is: that number changes only whe new war stars?
For example if i 3 stars a base that allready have 2 stars, i get 3 stars or only 1 star?

I had this question a few weeks ago. You would get three stars towards the achievement in that example. However if you 2 starred a base that had already been 2 starred, you'd get none.

Haa i get it. So we get the stars only if we get new stars in the attack.
Do you know what happens if i 3 stars a 3 starred base?

I believe none. All stars would have been taken for that base, for example. This prevents people from just using a second attack to 3 star the easiest base on the map (if it's already hit) in order to get the achievement faster.

You only get 1 star in that case.

You're wrong. You get 3 stars in that example. As long as you earn at least 1 new star then all stats get added to your achievement

I am in war at the moment, and just checked stars before and after my 2nd attack, which was on a base already 1 starred. I got 2 from it, and acheivement went up by 2.

Perhaps I was confused by the fact that you don't get any unless you get some new stars.

Indeed. I like it this way as unless you improve on a base you haven't contributed so shouldn't gain stats on your achievement.

You get 0, you didn't add any new stars so you get none.
