HELP!!! TH8 Having a hard time keeping loot over 2 mil

Alright so I've been at TH8 for about 2.5 months now, from a maxed TH7. I currently farm in the 800-1000 trophy range as that is the only place I can seem to get around 200K loot. I've had a very hard time with resources at TH8, I raid a few times a day. Once i crest around 2 mil of each in storage, I start to loose 200K of each in enemy raids and I start to loose more than I gain. Raiding more often hasn't helped either. Need help, is it my base layout? Anything that can help is appreciated as it has made upgrading difficult and I can't even seem to save enough to keep my lab going.

Go to 1600s trophy range.. There are less farmers and more snipers around there..

In 800-1000 range, you will mostly be attacked by good farmers that are looking to take all your loot.

You might want to farm in the trophy range from 1500-1600 bet for loot I f u want dark elixir you will want go above 1600 good luck let me know if this helps

There is no incentive to snipe in Silver. No one really needs to snipe to move up in trophies and there's not enough loot bonus to justify it, especially if they don't have a hero available for an elixir free snipe.

Snipe for chump change league bonus and 10 trophies or wreck your base for maximum loot.

That's a no brainer. I'd hit you every time I saw you.

Higher the league, the better chance of getting sniped.

From my experience, Gold 1 is a great place to get snipes because there are enough people wanting to push to Crystal for the free gems.

There are lots of snipers in silver. Lots of ppl who want to move up to gold or get achievements. Put your th bottom right, as more ppl seem to see it there. Put bk inside your base . Always have clan castle troops for defense.
unfortunatley the new match making system is hardest on each new th level, your defense is weak and you are easily picked on.
The new system was the worst thing they have done for the game. There is great loot in silver, and you will get snipes. Not saying you shouldn't try other places as well, but ppl are simply wrong saying there is nobody who snipes in lower leagues. Put a few mines or collectors by your th as an incentive to hit it & also showing there are no traps.

Red bit ..This is where I went when I moved up to TH8 and where I go when I wanna hoard..80% of the times I get sniped, 10% I get wrecked by TH9,s and 10% failed raids(but still get my TH and maybe some dry pumps/mines..
So I would seriously move up to at least G2 and gth outta silver

The greatest detterent against majority of attackers, are walls. The sooner you finish your skull walls the less you will get raided by barch/bam combos.

as mentioned I sit in gold as well. never have trouble finding good loot with a few nexts. for me though I don't get sniped very ofter, but my base will sit unattacked for quite a while. really weird cuz im pretty new th8 with lots of loot most of the time. right now I have 3m gold 2m elix and I have been sitting open unshielded.

I spent the whole week of the collector boost sitting in crystal 3 with my TH outside. got hit by a real raid once. Every other time I got sniped.
