1700-1800 is very good for gold and elixir for th9 right now but quite bad for de, I personally, farm for a month in gold leagues for walls then a month in master 3 for de.
I am farming in masters 1 with barbs and archers. I am making an insane amount of dark elixir.

Loot has been pretty good to me in gold 1. 1800-1900 range
Clashing is a beautiful thing....when everything goes your way.
I've been finding pretty good storage raids down in Silver 1 - Gold 3 (1300-1400). I use GiBarch and have been finding 200k + storage raids with 5-6 nexts. There have been a few good collector raids too.
