Crystal Clashers White Flag Event September 5-6

Is people really doing this?
im in gold 2 and its being nearly a hour waiting for someone to snipe or at least attack me but still nothing
My th is on the outside with the white flag and some other decorations...

You will never get sniped in gold, hence why its in crystal league. 11k lb < 50k plus 100-300 de is a lot more, and the league is so active.

Ive always had a white flag near my townhall, but im in gold 2. im not going to be in crystal sadly.

my TH is always out with a white flag, but it takes so long to find a snipe in Masters III that if i keep breaking shield i'm just gonna end up back down in crystal with the crappy loot bonus...

i'll have a look around, and if i'm finding lots of snipes i'll keep breaking shield, but i'm not convinced it'll happen

Wait Papasmurf, today is just an initial drill or dry run and have few participants yet, that is why we move the schedule of the event to SEPTEMBER 5-6, 2015. We need to lengthen our campaign to spread widely more of the info. We will give final instructions/mechanics on how we will do it two days before the event. Just wanna remind all by early this September before the event, let us free one or more builder's hut and as much as possible the lab too.

Im in but my th is always out and I live in crystal. If you have more than 3k de I may have to loot you anyway but otherwise I will snipe as I can.

This is on-going? Nobody was sniping my TH. I was unshielded for about 3 hours. TH is outside with white flag and decoration so you'd know it wasn't trapped. I'm in C3 btw. weird.
