Why so much hate for valks?

Valks are good on some bases. I dont know why peeps hate them. They just follow the masses saying that they are bad.

It's like anything in Clash. Use a troop comp a couple of times and if you can't get it down, they consider it garbage and move on. Luckily SC gave then a new dragon level.

There is a lot of ignorance in this thread.

At TH10 valks simply stink, unless you attack a base with all its buildings right next to each other in tight groups. Very, very few bases do such a thing.

The problem with valks is that they tend to run up in front of the tanks and they are not tanky enough themselves to handle it.

One Peeka is generally better than three valks in regards to bombs and infernos and the fact that at 1 hp the Peeka is still wrecking full force while two of the valks are dead if not all three.

Bombs hit all three valks so your overall damage is three times you would get if you just used the better unit: peeka.

Spring traps just make it worse for the valk.

The wind up time for valks is horrible!

I have my valks maxed and tried them out many, many times. A peeka is almost always better than three valks.

I do have a valk in my war cc now though, so they are good there.

The big problem is that there are better uses at th8/th10. So they are rarely if ever used at th8 that makes them a later upgrade on most peoples lab...which means they are only used for a short amount of time at near max th9. Also there aren't alot of "how to" videos with valks compared to say dragons, gowipe, laloon, hogs et c.

I dont hate valks but I really only use them on bases with clumped up ADs for a govalo...golem and valks to the core then loon the outer ring of defenses. Ive had good luck with that even against max def th9s.

It's not hate, the troops is good and has cons and pros.


Pros: Multi defensive/structure hit
Lots of hp (I dont know if that's a pro)
Good Defence in war(I don't know about higher th's but works perfectly in lower and I don't know if this is a pro either)

Cons: Too much housing space
Weak dps
Spring traps
Need more funneling than a normal troop

If you have more please tell me and if you disagree on any of these give a good reason.

I Valks occasionally to add some variety to my army. My favorite is when there is a base the puts all of their storage containers in the middle of the base. Send in a group of Valks then drop a rage spell and watch the loot rack up!

I get a 3 star every time I use Valkyries

And when that can be done at TH10, people will take valks seriously.

TH9 they are OP, TH10 they are garbage.

Perhaps some of the haters should join a specialist Valk clan for a couple of weeks and learn how to use them.

Mine are maxed. Not a fan mostly because of spring traps.
