Why so much hate for valks?

OneHive uses Valkyrie... that seems to get everyone to pay attention....Seriously though, people post videos, screen shots, etc - what more "proof" do you need? You want all the elite clans in clash to suddenly start doing things like OneHive does with GoVaLoon? Their is a huge difference between useful and popular


You simply do not understand the role a Valkyrie plays in a composition.

Yes, they are not tanks, they are not ranged damage, they don't spawn, troops and they do not fly


What they do is area damage and they move extremely fast. Honestly its more like a fast barbarian with splash damage. They can take some damage and they can dish it out. However, if your not talking about clusters of buildings their damage is pretty meh but you times that by 2 or even 3 its pretty substantial.

What Valkyrie do well is clear out clusters of buildings very fast, in particular the core. They move in quickly and they make short work of this typically clustered portion of the base.

But I'll stop their as I am seeing a lack of true consideration for a unit that is simply different than other units.

Did you read anything? They only post the successful attacks and who knows how many they've failed. Once again, their few good attacks is nothing compared to the number of attacks that occur in a single day. Just like if you had a baby die, nobody but a few would care in the world because of the number of people that die everyday. In a game where so many people are max TH10 and can experiment troops, a lack of popularity is directly related to lack of viability. And those few attacks are anomalies and must be posted because they are so rare. These accumulated posts of successful attacks are not even a trend.

Sure everybody fails. Ive lost one raid with valks, one with gowipe. But the deal breaker for me is that I have gotten way more three stars now with valks. Now comparing valks with golaloon and goho is difficult as those have been shown to work anywhere. But those strategies are much much harder to learn.

With gowipe you just throw it at a base, get two stars, and maybe three every once in a while if youre lucky. Sometimes valks are the same, but they can be utilized with so many troops to get three stars. They aren't OP. But they work well against bases since no one cares to make an anti valk base. Also, have them os excellent to have in your arsenal.

2. Too Big (housing space)
3. Long Time to Brew
4. Easy to Sprung
5. Dead by Giant Bomb
6. Unpredictable

Not too expensive like LAVA HOUND/GOLEM, not big like again LAVA HOUND/GOLEM, not too long like again LAVA HOUND/GOLEM/PEKKA/WITCH not too easy get sprung like HOG, not too fragile to Giant Bomb like WIZARD/HOG/WITCH because Valkyrie is pretty tanky... and they are PREDICTABLE.

Keep Argue, Keep Play Clash, Get those 3-stars... Have Fun.

ive been using them more at th9 now. Really started having success with them at lvl 3 and they just hit lvl 4 yesterday.

Really enjoy gutting cores with them. Ive gotten bored of pekkas and its fun to use a new troop.

Will be trying out lvl 4's for the first time tonight in a war vs a newbie th10 ill post my experiences with them after.
