i dont think people hate them as much as they just dont see the purpose in using them. They are actually really really strong, but they dont work on every base. They take a lot of time/loot to train as well. In normal cup attacking, valks arent really as viable as they r in war, cause as i said they can only work on some bases. Plus they do need to be buffed to a lvl 5.

At TH9, I'll give you that. TH10, not even good.
I think he was trying to show it is possible to 3 star at th10 with Valkyries. Granted it is harder, but I think it is possible based on base layout, it isn't just as easy as other attacks. But I can't comment on th10 since I'm not planning to go th10 until after this year end.

The truth of the matter is that valks DO run ahead of meat shield, who cares why. They start taking damage when peekas, Wizards or witches would be safely behind a golem or giant. That is their main problem.

You can get good attacks with them and there are bases that are poorly designed you can wreck with valks but almost all the time peekas would have done the same job just much better.
PEKKAS need to stay behind a golem. You mean they need a meatshield.I suggest you look at the PEKKAS hitpoints. It doesnt need a meatshield it is one.

Valks are only a better alternative against stupid bases. In that case, you could 3 star it anyway with troops that you are more familiar with.

There is no base that only Valkyries have a chance with.

And they are not utility troops that serve a specific purpose. They are not wizzies that are great for funneling and wreck house walking behind a tank, they are not minions who don't give a what about canons or mortars, they aren't witches who can distract defenses and cc troops relentlessly. Their claim to fame is that they can hit two buildings at once. But in practice this rarely works because your AQ and wizzies take out one of the buildings before the valk gets through it's incredibly slow animation.

I see now that I was incorrect. Great attack in that case!

OneHive uses Valkyrie... that seems to get everyone to pay attention....Seriously though, people post videos, screen shots, etc - what more "proof" do you need? You want all the elite clans in clash to suddenly start doing things like OneHive does with GoVaLoon? Their is a huge difference between useful and popular

You simply do not understand the role a Valkyrie plays in a composition.

Yes, they are not tanks, they are not ranged damage, they don't spawn, troops and they do not fly

What they do is area damage and they move extremely fast. Honestly its more like a fast barbarian with splash damage. They can take some damage and they can dish it out. However, if your not talking about clusters of buildings their damage is pretty meh but you times that by 2 or even 3 its pretty substantial.

What Valkyrie do well is clear out clusters of buildings very fast, in particular the core. They move in quickly and they make short work of this typically clustered portion of the base.

But I'll stop their as I am seeing a lack of true consideration for a unit that is simply different than other units.

Every attack that I see, that involves a Valk, fails. My friend got his to max, because they were awesome.... Well he hasn't used them after several fails.

Valks need their attack speed lowered to like 1-1.2 seconds from 1.8. They just take too much time between swings and half the time, what they are swinging at gets destroyed before they even swing. I don't know, but they are just missing something right now. No one has done anything with them, that couldn't have been done easier with other troops.

You need to get out more. There are enough examples in this thread alone, to show that valks can be part of successful attacks.

I use them every multiplayer raid and most war attacks. At 1000hp, I will let my lvl2 valks take their time. I rarely run out of time but often run out of archers while my valks are stilling swinging at 99% destruction.
