Has anybody come across clans using banning rules as a way of trying to win wars by reporting opposing war clan members for certain base designs that could poss be deemed as offensive. And where do you draw the line between a base being deemed as being offensive or friendly goading? and in case some people on this forum not familiar with the word 'goading' here is an explanation from the dictionary.

Goad at your own risk.

1- Everyone has a different line so where to draw it is up for debate.

2- You put yourself at risk, people know this exploit may give an advantage if it works with no back lash if it doesn't. Don't give them any fuel, even if it seems minor.

Why do it?

What you consider "good natured" goading could offend someone or just put your clan at risk. Its not because they have thin skin, its because you have given them something to use against you.

You can say all you want that you" were just having some fun" and its harmless but if it can get you banned, why do it?

Plenty of clans will look for any advantage they can- giving them the opportunity to ban one or more of your mates is not the smartest thing you can do. Have to ask yourself, is it really worth it? It doesn't matter where I draw the line- at some point someone is going to use it to their advantage. Might be the third clan you face, might be the 13th.

That is all very well and good but how can the 'shape of a base' be deemed as goading to the point of being offensive? I have played this game for nearly a year now and it is the first time i have come across a clan that has decided to target our group due to pre war goading base designs. Who makes the decision on what is deemed as offensive. Do they just ban some outright without even looking at there design? or is it a blanket policy to issue a 48hr ban regardless? I'd like to see the specifics on this.

Everyone knows what is offensive. Like I said in your other thread on this. YOU allow clans to use that to their advantage by making a stupid base. I mean unless you are 15 or below..really????

I play this game with 2 of my sons. So if some moron makes a middle finger base, then they are basically flipping off children. How can you possibly think that's ok?
