They are in it for the laugh and probably don't care about a few thousand gold pieces to rearm traps. Nothing funnier than watching a guy throw 200 Archers at a TH and leave without a win and 949 G&E. As for going All out for my base, go for it!!!!! If you are sniping then you don't have the army to attack me anyway.

I suspect this is why people trap their TH at times, just so it throws people off and that may mean less troops to go after the loot/50%.
Then why not just put the town hall back inside the base? Obviously if you trap you don't want a shield.

I used to bring lightning just to zap the DE of trappers. Now that has changed, I just take
the TH, draw and kill the CC, setoff any obvious traps, and move on (unless it is worth
the effort). In any moderately high league there is still some profit in snipeing obvious
    trapped THs.

I would recommend always starting a TH snipe with an archer. Most of the time archers can
be used without triggering nearby teslas. The AQ has better range, but it isn't worth potentially
wasting her health for a snipe.

If you had comprehended the post you would see what he said about mutualism. They are not lazy freeloaders. They are people performing a service in exchange for a reward. It is mutually beneficial to all involved.

The trappers in my clan mostly have funny replays. They rarely get wrecked, so they get the same benefit of a quick shield with a chance of a def win and/or funny replays.

I like to teach trappers a lesson, but that is probably only 1 attack every couple months for them.

btw I DO want a free shield, so I do not th trap
A troll base is like a guy with his hands by his side saying he wants you to fight him, but will give you one free punch. A trap base is like a guy with his hand out saying he wants to shake hands, but then slaps you in the face when you go in for the handshake. Everyone knows what the first guy wants. The first guy wants a fight. He set up the troll base to tempt you, but you know full well the moment you drop a troop there will be traps set off and defenses shooting off. The TH trapper is trying to pretend he is looking for a free shield. He is pretending to be something he is not (and he is doing it on purpose). If you want a fight, don't smile and put your hand out to shake and pretend that you are friendly. That is what makes TH trappers so hated.

I still use AQ, with her ability she heals back as long as long as you drop in other units to take tesla fire. If it is just 1-2 tesla you can drop AQ, let her take 2 zaps and drop BK also on TH. Hit her ability and then his and I think they are mostly healed and ready to go when the TH goes down. This is L24 AQ and L21 BK...can also drop barbs or giants in...

    👏🏻

Same thing happened to me. I was scouting out a Town Hall 8. Dropped a barbarian near the town hall snipe, and watched every trap go off. I dropped my full army, and I destroyed all the buildings EXCEPT the town hall. The happiness you mentioned is the best thing ever haha.

I almost always have one hero upgrading, so I hardly ever have them together. But substituting barbs and giants
as meatshields after hitting the AQ ability certainly works. Nevertheless, I would never use the BK to snipe. Just like barbs,
he is prone to getting in range of the defenses and hitting every bomb that they have put out. Hitting his ability will help
his health a little, but it wont stop him from being their target.

Of course, another reason not to start with your AQ or BK is to provide some extra time for the punishment.

No, why would I waste space in my base protecting my th?

As a maxxed 9 i put my th on the edge of my base simply because it is not worth protecting. But I could care less if I get snipped at all. My base hold up against any farming attack so I do not care if you go "all out" or not.
