Farming de in m3 / need tips!!!!!!

So i am a close to max th9 and since i am almost done with both elixier and gold i was wondering how efficient de farming in Masters 3 is? I am currently using a giant based army in gold 2-1 exclusively for de.

1) are there many dead bases?
2)Giants or barch ?? I dont want to use loons cuz i dont wanna spend de for de.
3)should i just go for 50 percent and loot bonus?
4) is it more efficent to farm de there than farming down in gold?

the loot bonus is good, so a 50% strat and sniping for the loot bonus is a good idea so no3. but Also try taking the de drills, i shouldnt be saying this as i hate it when it happens but de drills fill up fast and th9's can take a decent amount from a th10, so if they look a little full drop a few arch and take the de! and try for a 50% or snipe so you get bonus on top!
