thats when you entered into a smaller clan to test your skills, when worthy and understand their rules then you'll move up to the next lvl or main clan.

Adding on to what he said it would be cool to one day see an in-game way for a feeder/ sister clan(s) and the main clan to be more better linked together somehow (whether it be by a chat or whatever it is). So when you hear people talking about a feeder system being added into the game that's what there roughly talking about 90% of the time.
