    Hi All,

This post is very misleading. Rushing is good if you know what you are doing. Basically upgrade all offenses needed for farming before you upgrade TH. (This is not really needed from TH1-6 as they are very easy).

I rushed a little bit so I could dump my gold and elixir into walls. When I maxed my walls at TH9 I was sitting on full storages all the time, so I decided to rush a tad instead of sitting on full storages all the time.

I am actually a quite new TH10, under 2 weeks old. Barbarian will be my first lab. upgrade.

    I get over 900+ attacks a season.

Wrong, defense does not play any part in this game. This game is around 95% offense and 5% defense. For farming, just dump loot before you log off, that way you're never attacked. And infernos with th8 defenses is stronger than any th9 in the game, if you ever want defenses.

For war, you can only give up 3 stars on defense, but you can get 6 stars back. So rushing is beneficial if you know how to three star and you're not at the top of your war standing.

For pushing, it's too easy to give up the one or two star that your defenses doesn't really matter. Only your dedicated attacking can ddefinitively bring you to higher leagues

To the OP, you clearly are mistaken. Rushing a is good. It is when you upgrade your main offense capabilities and don't worry too much about defense. You have clearly mistaken a rusher for a premmie. A premmie is someone who doesn't know what the hell they're doing so they up their TH and end up being a TH8 with lvl 1 BArch. (Someone actually TH sniped me. A TH8 with lvl 1 BArch and lvl 1 and 2 walls)

I'm rushing to TH9 once I have BK 10, all 225 skulls and main troops maxed

sorry for this . i'm a rusher . offense > def . my 7 month old th 10 can defend against maxed gowipe attack with 25+ heroes (th9) . got 40% and some loot no de . but when comes to revenge mode . i stole almost all his loot with gi wiz healer and 5 spell . see the benefit ? you can crush anyone base if you got decent troop . defenses wont give you resources. but offensive can give you loot . thats how smart rusher did to their base

If they could afford the town hall upgrade, they can afford to catch up with any troops they need. If they gemmed the town hall and only the town hall, you cannot save them.

The disadvantages of rushing for attacking purposes is the player who did not upgrade his troops to the max level he/she can that the town hall level will allow. Say the player has level 2 troops and is a town hall 8 and is going to attack a maxed town hall 8 the chances of winning is 1 out of a million. It is also a huge problem for clan wars. Now about defense, a town hall 8 with the level of defenses that a town hall 5 has is a huge disadvantage, town halls lower than them possibly can get a sweet victory. In clan wars a rushed base has a big chance of being 3 starred and with their low level troops attacking will lead to a failure depending on the town hall he/she attacking. Why not have supercell put rushing inside the help and support and have many reasons why it's not good and effects clans badly. I see way too many rushes town halls out there. I used to be rushed and it made my gameplay hard/stressful and not fun. I'm decently maxed now and should be coming up on town hall 9 in a couple months.
Supercell wouldn't do so cause a large number of rushers are also gemmers. Why help themselves make less money?

Well I rushed to TH9 & I'm ok with it. Not finding it very difficult to loot at all.

The thing is defence is overrated in this game. Just as SinOfDusk pointed out, if you know the essentials of rushing, its probably the best thing you can do.

I agree that rushing provides the most efficient path to max for active raiders.

However, the pro-rushing lobby need to ease off trying to convince people that rushing is for everyone.

Those who get it, get it - usually because they have overflowing stores so the rush is an obvious choice.

The danger is that some people will misunderstand the rusher/premmie distinction and get themselves into hot water with under levelled troops (like the OP).

Combine that with low playing intensity (lose more than they gain) and someone's entire game experience can be really ruined.

Back on topic, there is still a warning about rushing rashly (rushing rashly?) when you upgrade TH, isn't there? That should suffice.

Edit - pro-maxers are just as one-eyed but there is far less harm in unwisely maxing (just a loss of efficiency).
