TH9 development - opinion (good)?

What army composition did you use back then, how many giants? And what was the minimum dark you went for? Thank you for your advices!

12 giants, 12 wb, 36 barbs, 80 arch, 10 min. 2 heal, 2 rage, 1 hero recommended

For collectors, I target 200k each, as much DE as there is. For storages, I target TH8s with 1.5k above or TH9 2.2k above and usually at least decent storage loot (250k elix for Th8)

How long have you been TH9 and how long is it that you are playing COC? Where are you farming your dark for heroes (and how)? Nice levels tho!

And also, where are you farming those lavas and what army composition do you use?

Exactly one year when the third anniversary of Coc. Started playing 1 august last year.
I simply floating around gold two, one and crystal three. I just use barch for gold and elixir on dead bases and still barch for hunting DE with th8 being most of the victims. Even maxed th8 defenses cannot hold againts just barch with level 20 queen and two spells.
I'm not giants and minion user yet as the troops still low level. But i believe giant healer rush very effective for DE hunting. You can replace the healer though. Have you heard farming with 6-8 healers archer queen combo? You can try those.

My plan is to become a TH10 in early January, that is when the laboratory troops will all be completed. All my buildings will be maxed in September and early October. I am wondering 2 things:
-is it possible to max lava walls in 3 months?
-are 25/25 heroes good enough to proceed to TH10, or should i really keep doing them to have them 30/30 even though my walls and everything else will be done? Because getting those 10 levels can take a lot...

It's possible to get all lava if you put enough effort in it. A few guys I know have done it in 3/4 month using the army boost frequently. It's more preferable to be farming DE because it directly improves your attacking power, which is more important for war attacks. I think max heros are more important then max walls before you go to th10.

Anyway, my goal for lava walls is because of the loot penalty on TH10, dont want to leave any walls left for later so that i could start immediately the blue ones.

Yes, i think i have 80.000 donations. I am a leader of my clan and usually take care of the many CCs, i also have good donation troops. We usually dont donate barch in clan, but better stuff.

I say u have done exactly wats in my mind now after i have almost maxed th9. I did all troops lavas queen also. King is going to lvl 21. He is the only thing remaining for me to max th9 100%.
i say that u did good cuz of .....
wen i upgraded to th9 i started on defences directly, my biulders wer not getting time to sleep untill i finished all the defences. By that time i had finished my defences i also finished all legos and did heroes to 15/15. I concentrated completly on resourses. At that time which was a big mistake
but the biggest mistake i did again was that after that again i focused on resourses for the lava walls, even cam down to silver for that. My aim was to complete th9 100% from first. So wen i finished lava walls my heroes wer 25/17. That means 18 more levels for heroes combined. i.e. More than 4 months may be. I regret it now. Cuz my storages are full all the time. Keep in mind i am focusing soley on de. But still storages full(from wer?. I dont knw) . It comes along automatically.
So moral of the story lol is. Concentrate on de for ur heroes. Keep ur heroes down as much as u can. Dont worry if ur biulder is going to be free from a defence and u think that u have to collect gold for it. Just ignore it. The time consumed on maxing heroes is more than enough to max th9 defences five times.

Yup, hit the nail on the head right there. DE and hero upgrades are definitely the bottleneck if you're trying to max out TH9 before moving to TH10. Once your heroes reach level 22+, depending on your farming frequency and amount of game play, it becomes really difficult, at least for me, trying to keep both down consistently. That will really hold you back towards the end. If you're just trying to get the lab done before moving up and are fine with level 25 heroes then more power to you, but, contrary to popular opinion, I think it's worth it to have level 30s.

It does suck to be with full resources as a result of not doing things right. I'm sitting with 24 lavas left to do and 28/24 heroes and frantically trying to slow my G/E accumulations by throwing away E making pekka and dragon armies. It isn't bad for pushing though. I also have one more level on my EQ and Haste spells to do yet. I'm really torn on rushing early or sticking it out, but leaning towards staying as it is in line with what I wanted to do from the get go and I've stuck it out this long. What's another few weeks.
