TH9 development - opinion (good)?

I think having high walls with low defenses can come back to bite you now that walls have weight. So many th9 strategies ignore walls for most of the attack. I personally, being a lavalooner, love seeing people with legos and th8 defenses. They are a lot easier for me than max th9 defenses and level 7 walls.

That's just my perspective.

nice progression, i wasnt anywhere near u when i was 10 months in. Anyways, good job, keep going, and keeping all those other defenses at th8 is good, but it wont make too much of a difference, only the xbows really..

I say u have done exactly wats in my mind now after i have almost maxed th9. I did all troops lavas queen also. King is going to lvl 21. He is the only thing remaining for me to max th9 100%.

wen i upgraded to th9 i started on defences directly, my biulders wer not getting time to sleep untill i finished all the defences. By that time i had finished my defences i also finished all legos and did heroes to 15/15. I concentrated completly on resourses. At that time which was a big mistake
but the biggest mistake i did again was that after that again i focused on resourses for the lava walls, even cam down to silver for that. My aim was to complete th9 100% from first. So wen i finished lava walls my heroes wer 25/17. That means 18 more levels for heroes combined. i.e. More than 4 months may be. I regret it now. Cuz my storages are full all the time. Keep in mind i am focusing soley on de. But still storages full(from wer?. I dont knw) . It comes along automatically.
So moral of the story lol is. Concentrate on de for ur heroes. Keep ur heroes down as much as u can. Dont worry if ur biulder is going to be free from a defence and u think that u have to collect gold for it. Just ignore it. The time consumed on maxing heroes is more than enough to max th9 defences five times.

Thank you so much for your share of experience. Reason for me starting this topic was because I was hoping to get opinions like yours! How did you farm DARK and how did you farm LAVA? And also, which league?

I am fully aware of it, but it's just the risk I am willing to take. I had few good defences from lavaloonion in war + all my air defences and teslas are at L7. But as I said, I am not gonna leave all defenses at TH8 for too long, I am doing them soon, I have 95 walls remaining until all are full lego.

Quite decent speed for a typical maxer. Keep working on those heroes and you'll be ok regardless. Good idea of delaying defenses, I'll favor WT before AT but that's me.

My only concern is if i stick to farming dark in gold3 with let's say giants, will i be able to do any walls in the meantime aswell? I haven't really started farming with giants so I have no clue what the gold+elixir income will be.

I farmed my entire TH9 journey with GiBAM. Just be stingy with giants and wb when you're hitting collectors, you'll find that training time would be faster than pure barch because you're rationing troops. Elixir gains may be slower, but if you don't spam wb every battle, you'll turn up ok

What army composition did you use back then, how many giants? And what was the minimum dark you went for? Thank you for your advices!

Good job for 10 months old base. The fact that you focus on heroes than upgrading defenses as quickly as possible is the right strategy.
I myself level 116 th9 with mid way through maxing defenses. My air defenses, wizard towers, teslas maxed but still got work to do with all my archer towers, cannons, mortars and x-bow. All my elixir base building done and can concentrate elixir on walls beside lab research. I have 140 level 10 walls and the rest are level 9 walls. Level 23 king and level 20 queen. All dark troops maxed, coolest among them the valks. But still have level 5 giants, level 2 dragons, healers and pekkas. I can research them later after dark spells finished. While wating my base and research progress, waiting heroes upgrading as high as possible would be a good turn than focusing all your builders on defenses. Good luck on the journey.

Your doing good if I were you I'd work on trying to keep both hero's upgrading if you can

How long have you been TH9 and how long is it that you are playing COC? Where are you farming your dark for heroes (and how)? Nice levels tho!

And also, where are you farming those lavas and what army composition do you use? How much do you average?
