if you're using that army, you need to be more greedy...look for like 1.8-2K dont settle for 1K...1K is for armies like gibarch, barch, bag, gibag, bam, gibam, etc all those pure farm strategies

If i were in your situation, I would use 16 giants 8 wall brakers rest archers and barbs, ask clan mates to give you level 6 or 7 giants. First check for CC troops, lure and kill as necessary. Then send giants on side closest to DE. Then follow them up with barbs and archers as well as wall breakers to bust to core as necessary. If you have more time on your hand you can replace some archers and barbs with wizards and put them behind giants. Carry 2 heal 1 rage and a poison for archers witches or wizards in cc. Use GiBarch. Wizards take too long to train. Bring 8-12 wallbreakers as well. Try to hit bases that don't have their DE storage centered.

Lebs time? Try 12 Giants, 8 WB, 12 Wiz, and rest archers. 2 Heal and 1 Rage. I used to do that combo sometimes at TH8.

If I were you I would just do GiBarch or GiArch though.

I do just fine with barch
Got TH8 3 weeks ago or so
I've researched level 3 hogs (30k DE) and level upgraded king from 5 to 7 (47,5k total)
Now I'm sitting with 15k DE waiting for my king to wake up and farm the other 15k and get him to 8

Really it's not hard just attack offcentered storages and snipe full drills

Use 12-15 Giants, a couple wall breakers, a healer, then the rest barbs and archers.

Mass dragons with lightning spells, I used to be a zapper and it's been tough but mass dragons especially if you have extra Elixir works. Destroys almost any TH8 base.

This is what I use as well and although it is expensive on the elixir I only hit bases with a lot of gold and DE so that I can hit my walls while I raid. I also don't attack anything with less than 1500 DE and can usually find stuff between 1800-2200 without passing out from hitting the next button.
