Should I max my Th5 or should i rush to Th6 and then max 6

Some people will say you should rush but in my opinion I would not do it.
If you rush you will have low defenses and the higher th, in this case th6 and even th7, will have more profit from atacking you (the penalty of higher th atacking lower th).
It's always up to you but keep in mind that you can loose more resources if th6 and th7 attack you and you can steal less from th5 and th6.
At these levels I think walls are quite important, if people see you got good walls then they will attack you less.

Yes, that is why it matters how you play... attacking once then logging off => Don't rush. Attacking 10 times before logging off => Rush

The point of rushing to TH7 is not to keep pounding on TH5's... it's to be able to raid TH7's succesfully (and the TH8's with collectors outside for that matter). And TH7s in general hold a lot more loot than TH5's.

You can rush to th7. You won't die. I rushed to th7 and now look at me. I am fine xD

I feel like our way of thinking is contrary to popular belief, but yes. I rushed, and I'm getting closer to being a max th8.

worst advise ever, dont rush at all

My th6 mini has nearly maxed pink walls and i win soooo many defenses because of it, wall grind while its easy!

It gets much tougher at TH8 and higher with skulls being 500K each at TH8 when you already need so much gold.
