Are Xbows worth it????

Not everyone as a Th8 is confident in attacking a base when he sees Xbows in enemy bases. Xbows Lvl 1 may not have a huge amount of dps but they cover a long range & two Xbows can easily cover your whole base meaning a confirmed 50+ dps throughout the map. Having an amazing rate of fire per second, their shots aren't wasted much.

Xbows Lvl 1 are essential! Xbows Lvl 2 don't make much of a difference but then u get another amazing boost at Lvl 3!

The best things about Th9 are it's Xbows & AQ!

It depends whether your clan goes to war or not. Also if there are decimal-clanmates out there telling you to go 8.1, 8.2, 8.5, 8.8, 8.99, 9.0 routes

Otherwise, for farming, x-bow does intimidate and once both L1 are ready, you will notice the reduction of barch attacks from TH8/TH9.

Xbows don't overkill as much as other defenses they kill low hp units faster and move on to the next

^^^^ this, it's the high rate of fire + long range that is VERY effective against low HP troops

Long story short:
If you care about war don't buy them until the end. They weight too much and have less damage.
If you farm do them because raiders scare of it

Hey guys i m KP Lvl 91 Th8 base maxed except walls. (abt 60 lvl 8 walls only). Wil be th9 in 7 days. My question is should i go for the x bow once i reach th9 or should i jus create and upgrade other defences like AD, wiz & archer towers? Cos i see that xbows cost a lot and take long time to upgrade and seriously i dont think lvl 1 xbows inflict so much damage ( i ve taken out th9s and notice that xbows dont damage my drags/giants/pekkas under heal spells) So what should i do guys

Xbows are cheap. My cannons cost 7.5 million to upgrade. Trust me, it's easier to get loot at Th9 than Th10.

Thats kind of misleading, since the new MM update loot is just as good at th10 as th9 imo. Our upgrades just cost more but is balanced by the time they take

My strategy was to go for troops first. That meant that I saved up as much I could get as soon as I got my TH9 and spend everything on my CC, DE Barrack, Lab, Spell factory and DE spell factory. Once that was ready I used my builders for the 4 army camps. Now that my builders are ready with all the army buildings I will start with the defenses.

Dunno about you, but I'm farming much faster as a TH10 than I used to at TH9. And I farmed faster when I was in TH9 than my TH8 alt
