What lvl do tesla towers become effective

I have level 3 Tesla towers and I plan on upgrading them after I get my first level 7 wizard tower but I was curious to know when do the teslathe towers become strong and effective.

lvl4 they start doing notable damage, lvl7 is when they get intimidating

I see decent help with me lvl 3s, but that's probably because my defenses are a little weaker than they should be

Level 6s can stop a th8 gowipe in its tracks (lvl 6 is max at th8) and they get better from there.

They become some kind of use at level 4, start doing serious damage at level 6, and at level 7 and 8 they can completely derail a pekka based attack if the attacker is unprepared.
