Masters League: DE Farming Questions

I'll try and make this short and sweet.

1. What league should I be in (1,2,3)?

2. Balloonion or a Giant based army (keep in mind I will probably NOT have heroes).

3. Is it worth it?

4. Is it as amazing as everybody says?

1) II or III. Bases get tougher around I. DE doesn't necessarily improve.
2) Giant based, they are faster and your not spending as much DE to make DE.
3) Yep, DE in Masters is good. Even if you are just winning for the sake of winning the bonus adds up.
4) If DE is your primary focus, yes I believe it is.

1. M2 if you can survive with minimum spells. Else M3.
2. Barch for 50%. Cheapest and fastest. I can survive till high M2.
3. Yes to me.
4. Amazing enough for me to farm 200k DE every week, at my own pace. So I can keep a hero upgrading non-stop.

m3 og m2. My king has been sleeping since lvl 15. Putting him down til lvl 30 in a few days (with the AQ getting a few upgrades too). Lazy ♥♥♥♥!

Been using Queen/Healer for dat easy DE (easy to get 50% or TH for that loot bonus). Going to use GiBarch when it's time to put the AQ down. Dropping down to ~2550 cups. Farming crystal bases and getting that m3 bonus.

I think a lot depends how you play... if you boost barracks and do a 2 hour session, then you want to raid with cheap/fast troops, and will generally be better not going too high. If, like me, you log in for a few minutes, do a raid and go again - and repeat several times during the day, then heavier troops and slightly higher trophies to get more result per raid will work best. And training time doesn't matter so much.

I've certainly got better DE in Masters than I did in gold or crystal. I don't attack for less than 3k profit per raid, including bonus. Currently in M1, but that's mainly just because that's where I end up unless I actively ditch trophies. I suspect that M2 or M3 may be a better bet. M1 is probably too tough if both heroes are out of action.

And I use giant/wiz, for the reason Daz mentioned - minions cost DE. Even 20-30 minions will be 10-15% of your loot if you are aiming to score 2k per raid.

Push up to champions for the gems, drop down to masters 1 (but stay as a champion so don't drop below 3100), snipe town halls and attack other people pushing to champions for the gems. When the league ends, push back up to champions and do the same again.

And don't forget to leave your th outside for others to snipe.

I would suggest you to go to Silver as there are lots of DE here unless if you wanna break the 2000 gems achievement.

Gibarch when you have no heroes/one hero up, quealer when you have AQ with ya.

3. Is it worth it?
Farming DE to max out your heroes, why it isn't?

4. Is it as amazing as everybody says?
Silver is great.
