[OPINION THREAD] Global Chat: Do you like it or not?

The amount of these threads has been piling up for ages now...

Personally, I still enjoy global chat at times. It's nice to find people to recruit, chat with, and get advice from. Sure there are those asking for GFs, BFs, and all that ♥♥♥♥, but I actually find that amusing too! I mean who doesn't love it how a guy is asking for a GF when they most likely sit around all day, don't go outside, and just play clash? I always just tell them the same thing, "Want a GF? Go outside, play a sport, be yourself, go lift some weights. Then you'll get a GF." On that note, I was on global today (I know brave right ) when this guy was saying the most hilarious stuff. "My Kik is: IGoOutsideAndHaveAGF." Cracking up right there.

Enough rambling, let's get to the point: What are your honest opinions of global chat? Do you like it? Do you use it? Does your clan use it to recruit? Etc.

Just keep the thread clean and argument free guys!

I love global... it is hilarious to read, but unless I feel like being harassed or inundated with requests to join the clan, never post anything there. A couple of our clan members were recruited off of global by other members, but they were rare gems amongst a pile of rocks.

I enjoy global occasionally, back in the day when I was an early lvl20 player I made a clan with someone I knew and we used global to recruit, we were picky and found decent people of a similar level, we all grew together until we were mid lvl80s and everything was great (pre clan wars). After wars came out people wanted different amounts of war and we went our own ways (if only we had opt in/out). I found the clan I am now in through global (both the leader and a co were both on the same one as me) and while it can take a while to find one without the annoying kids, you can find people and exchange different ideas, just yesterday I was taking to someone about clan war attack I had used, they said they'd try it and told me later it got them 3 stars.

The more time I spend on Global, the dumber I think I become. Either that or I'm drunk and probably should go to bed.
