I notice alot of threads regarding disconnects, and many of them wrongly point the finger at Supercells servers, which is unfair. The problem is Supercell requires a higher quality connection than other games to keep an open comm link between the server and the device and any slight disruption to this often ends up with a disconnect. I dont think anything about this should change and these measures are put into place to make sure the game is played fairly.

What i propose is either a seperate application or one built in that runs a network stress test. Check ping times, network stability, latency ect. Now this would not be a sure fire method to stop all disconnects and its still going to happen, but you give people a better idea of that a "good connection" means to your servers. Most people will immediately go online and check email or some other function that doesnt require the rock solid stability your servers require and immediately conclude they have a good connection, causing alot of frustration.

Now i admit that this isnt a problem for me. I have a fantastic ISP and a 5ghz wi-fi router that is lightning fast. And the vast majority of clashers likely have stable connections and very rarely have disconnects. However, it happens to everyone, and while it helps a minority of players more than the majority, i think ALL clashers would appreciate the added piece of mind of knowing they have verified a "stable" connection before they hit attack in war.

Leave your thoughts here, im open to any opinions or even suggestions. Thanks!
