    Poison spell killed CC variety for wars.

    CC setups before included archers, wizards, witches, dragons, balloons, valks, and on occasion a couple barbs and/or minions.

    CC setups now include a dragon + balloon(s) and/or a valk. I personally haven't seen a lavaloon in CC defense yet but I'm sure some people have used them.

    No variety is dumb. Gotta love the poison spell from a farming perspective though.

    2 ideas:

    Make it cost 2 spaces, but strong enough to do real damage to heavy troops

    Or the less dramatic approach:

    Make the damage percentage based rather than a set value. An exception to this rule could be skeletons, or low level tier 1 troops.

    These, along with so many others' proposals who actually took more than 20 minutes to think of something creative, are both great ideas. People have said to give it a set damage ceiling, which would require upgrading it but also give defensive cc's strategic options in how to counter it if they went that route, and give it use against high hp troops as well. There was talks of reducing the levels of the troops by those in it, or removing their splash damage capacity inside it, etc. All of these would be better than simply "kill everything of use defensively in the cc with a lvl 1 spell."

    And hell, leave it as is and just make it cost 2 spaces, like he said. I would have absolutley no problems with a spell that guarantees it kills off my most effective cc troops, if it required an actual spell space to do so. B/c that means they have one less spell to get the 3-star on the actual base raid. If they want to go the lazy route and not draw out the cc, then at least make the spell require an actual sacrifice to your offense. As it stands it's a free spell. You would never not bring it, as having one earthquake or one haste is pointless, when you consider the opportunity cost of not having a poison spell in your arsenal. You make the spell take up 2 spaces, and now you will have players gauge the value of bringing it along as the cost of a rage/freeze/heal/jump, or not bring it and handle the cc the old-fashioned way, with a skilled draw/lure/kill done in a timely manner.

    Gd with farming, if it's a dragon in the cc, just a bunch of archers can do the job, and if there are archers/wizards in the cc, then it's the poison spell, much better.

    Because these are the people who loved this update, haha. Ones who don't understand that it SHOULDN'T be easy to bypass cc troops with a simple spell. Aka, children.

    reduced variety of cc's you have to deal with and eliminated need to lure cc. It made game much less strategic, so i dislike it. easy fix is make witches immune. her skeletons can still be poisoned but not witch herself.

    I'm trying to understand the purpose of the poison spell:


    Is Supercell trying to kill variation in CC troops?

    - If yes, why?

    - If not, why was the PS implemented this way?


    It's known that the player base works as beta testers for Supercell but in this case ANYBODY could've foreseen the effects of such a spell, in fact, the forumers already pointed it out before the update was even released.
