After thousands of years I finally managed to max TH8. I could only deal upgrading 200 Skull walls and couldn't wait anymore. Today I started TH9 upgrade and while it upgrades I'll fill my storages to full. I am not planning to do the TH8.5 as it feels complicated and.. yeah.

My question is what troop and building should I upgrade first. Note that I will opt out of war until I set up my TH9 so it doesn't interfere. I have 5 builders available. As for buildings, i was thinking of upgrading CC, build a Xbow, archer queen to level2, spell factory and laboratory. These are the ones I've heard the most but I worry more about the troops.

i wouldn't worry about xbows until a little later. upgrade your lab, CC, build new storages, upgrade troops (any that are useful to you doesn't really matter). lvl 1 xbows aren't that great imo

I went with Giants since they are the foundation of my farming army - The increase in stats from level 5 to 6 is a very nice bump. After Giants I did, Archers>Barbarians>Wizards.
