Defending healers now heal defending heroes?

I think this was changed a while back, healers were changed from healing buildings to healing Heroes and CC troops

No they don't. Only heroes and your own CC troops

It's definitely a recent change, I've had healers come out a few times not too long ago and it's the first time this has happened. They used to just hover above the CC doing nothing until they were killed by attacking troops.

Nope, see the video above this comment. It was changed a while ago

Your healer could have hovered over CC because of the following reasons:

• You had no CC troops to heal
• You had no hero to heal (If you had one he might have been on sleep/KO)
• A glitch (which I don't think it is)
