A clanmate said they had virtually no change out of $500 to get heroes from 35-40, dark and time. It's rough.

Dont need to tell me, I sure as hell haven't got that kinda dough (hahaha) to dump on this.

However, being as I have 4 kids and time, and he has 0 kids, little time and plenty money (those might be related) makes sense really....

I bought $150 in gems to gem hero upgrade time. Do two war attacks at start...hit upgrade...and then gem the time with four hours left on the next battle day. Takes about 600 gems with that strategy -- down from 1k.
