Th7 stand no chance even of th8 with level 4 barch. They can take only a max pekka in cc, level 5 barb king and the barch and they will op your base

Hehe. I think you should play more Clash and less Hay Day to understand that a TH7 is easy pickings. Even TH9's will get nice loot from leveling a TH7 with max storages and collectors. TH7 do not stand a chance.

Hay Day? Any th7 can easily be destroyed by another th7, or anyone higher.

Right, so I am a fully maxed out TH7, going to TH8. The thing is I am sitting at max resources and ALMOST max dark elixir as well. Now I have nothing to spend it on and since the boost event is going on, my pumps, mines and drills get filled up very fast too. I'd like to protect my loot. I already have all my storages in the centre but the pumps are completely filled out. Is there anything I can do to protect everything? Perhaps suggest a base that can protect my storages as well as collectors? I have my town hall on the outside towards the far corner already but since I have 400,000+ of each resource and 1,000+ dark elixir available each time, I get attacked and get my stuff taken away a lot. Is there anything I can do?

Unfortunately any base with full storages will be a target, I bet you would target them too. The fact that you're TH7 also means stronger guys can come along and wipe you out, just the nature of the game. All you can really do for now is just farm back whatever you lose. That is unless you use gems and would rather skip your TH upgrade so that you can spend your loot.
I should warn you that you'll experience the same problem when you reach the end of TH8 too. It's only when you hit TH9 that you can be less fearful of losing so much loot

I am still in TH6 after 2 weeks since I started playing and yet I know that TH7 are really easy targets, even for another TH7. Personally at TH6 I can't 3 star TH7 just yet but I can 2 star sometimes, depending on the troops and how good/poor that base is. I know they are because I read a LOT, and I do mean "LOT". The base won't stand a chance for sure but you never know if the attacker just wants go to destroy the town hall outside for a star and few trophies and leave

One solution is to gem your th upgrade and future th8 upgrades as needed.

When it happened to me going to 8 and then 9, I didn't look at it as a loss, because it all came "free" without having to attack for it and would be quickly replaced for free. I used the extra elix to donate dragons and wizards like crazy, and practiced with multiple war armies that would otherwise be too expensive for regular raiding.

nothing much you can do since its easy to raid a th7 but i dont think you should worry much, once you get attacked you get a 12h shield which should be enouph time to get your loot back from your mines

I am in the same boat here. My mini is a Max TH7 (except for 10 walls). the Boost event is awesome but it means my collectors will fill up my storages before I'm done. I expect to get raided a ton before the upgrade finishes.

I would say just don't worry about it. Your stuff will get stolen, leave your shield up, collect from your collectors and they will be full again. What's the difference between that and having your storages sit full for a week?
