    Last real attack I got was 7 days ago and it was a revenge attack and even so they only got 2 storage.

    The combo you are suggesting isn't 100% safe from luring with 2-3 hogs then either slowly draw them into a dark corner or drop the poison spell on route to your marching troops. This way slow them down, don't waste time with drawing them into the corner and deal with them at the same time.

    the point is that if you bring a poison spell to war and it ends up being a dragon in the CC, then your screwed it doesnt work. But I still see people that are mixing it up and keeping the wiz or witches in the cc, and the attacker didnt bring a poison spell assuming its now a drag. So its mixes it up for the attacker to make a choice between maybe a haste vs a poison. And Valks are also a good choice to have in the cc. COC is just trying to mix things up so things dont get boring for players. It is what it is. Just as the others are saying... ADAPT.

    I use a golem , dragon or pekka mixed in with a loon for clan castle troops since the poison spell came out and that seems to work fairly well. The golem is my favorite because even though they don't have much DP they take a really long time to kill. As said in other post the poison spell has just made people choose other clan castle troop with more HP. I do miss the attacking power of my wizards and witches but they have become useless clan castle troops now.

    It is sorta of a shame really because now all you will see are high HP troops in clan castle but on the other hand it was getting kinda boring just using wizards and witches all the time. Anyways one thing I have learned with this game is that you have to learn to adapt otherwise you just get frustrated. Some changes are for the better and some are not but I don't let it bother me anymore.

    The moment the game stops being fun is the moment I will quit.

    Uh no, it did the exact opposite. It destroyed diversity. Now it is always a loon, valk, drag or hound combo

    For farming, use giants, you don't get attacked from the air all that often when farming.

    You could also say that the earthquake spell is overpowered, as you can destroy any level walls with level one spells.

    The troops that die to poison spell are the ones that usually died to lightning spell as well. Now they nerfed the use of lightning hard anyway so its kinda pointless now, but in its stead added something to fulfill its need to kill CC troops. Though I won't say its a lot better because level 1 poison still requires some time to kill the troops. Also some might say that it requires half the space, but on the otherside if you take a poison spell the other half can only be fulfilled by a haste (single EQ is useless) which is like 1/3rd as useful as rage (only speed, doesn't increase attack speed & damage), so not as useful if you are not using loons. The only thing constant in life is change & the only way to survive is to adapt. You always don't have things going your way. You are also being given the option to use them so use it well when your farming or in war to negate the CCs.
