I know this is off topic but why would you want to gem all the way to max town hall 9? Think of the fun you would miss out on and the sense of accomplishment in the game. Anyway I would assume that it would get quite expensive. Kind of hard to tell unless someone has actually done this.Originally Posted by BrewCrew113

Probably over $1000 worth of gems. Directly buying loot with gems is the most expensive use of them.

Not really that difficult to figure out once you get the numbers.
How much of each resource do you need?
How many times would you needed to completely fill your storage?
How many gems does a full storage cost?

Walls and heroes by far are the most expensive, but fully gemming max TH9 defense plus lab is still going to be thousands.
I would honestly just take my time. TH9 is probably the most enjoyable TH in the entire game, no need to rush through it.

wall+defence+hero will be about $4500
Gemming to buy resources isn't a very good idea. Use your Gems on boosting barracks, Heroes, spell factory etc to attack & you will get more loot that way. Also, gem your collectors if you want & that's better than trying to buy gold from gems to use on walls....

I was not asking about how to gem to max th9 from the very start, I was wondering from a max th8. I currently have a max th8, and was wondering how much it would take to get to a max th9.
archer queen from 1-30 and bk from 10-30 cost 1k dollars
were not talking about legos, nor lavas
or defences
better swipe that credit card if you wanna max th9 with gems
edit: OP it would prolly be 5k dollars if you wanna go from max th8-th9
